New book: Consonant Digraphs Join Parade

Just finished illustrating another Word Plays children's book for Benchmark Education.  This one is called Consonant Digraphs Join Parade. Basically a bunch of letters are late for the balloon parade and they have to think of new balloons to make before they can join the parade. Below are a couple of my favourite illustrations.

New book: At the Comma Store

A couple of weeks ago I just finished illustrating another Word Plays children's book for Benchmark Education. The main characters family go to their local comma store and they learn all about commas. There's also the awesome band the Comma-Dores playing. Get it :)

Babich and Stoli

Here is Babich and his loyal but ever suffering sidekick Stoli. They are the two main characters of a 30 page illustrated short story about a guy with a trash can as a helmet who wants to be the greatest warrior in the land.

New children's book characters

 

This is Dan, Greg and Lin standing outside their school ready for their big trip, they are the 3 main characters of a new children's book I've just finished illustrating. I Can't say much at the moment but it involves dinosaurs, which is super awesome fun! More updates to follow.

Children's book update

Just finished the children's book I previously posted. Below are a couple pages from the book. I'll keep you up to date when it will be published and where it's available from.

And also some more good news, the publisher has asked me to illustrator another book. So pretty happy about that and it's about dinosaurs, which is super cool. So first a book about space and the dinosaurs, I wonder what's next? Pirates or robots, or even ninjas! Maybe robot ninja pirates!

Illustrating a children's book

Just started working on a children's book with Clean Slate Press. Above are some rough sketches for the main characters. It's about these three kids and a robot dog. Also it's set in space, which is cool because I get to illustrate lots of cool space scenes, spaceships and other neat science fiction stuff. I'll show you some more image updates soon. But for now I better get back to work, I have a deadline to meet.
